ArtWork, in collaboration with the Splendor Fidei ETS Foundation and the Biblio-Museum Center of the Archdiocese of Lecce, has joined the second edition of Yeast Photo Festival, the international festival that combines photography, food and visual arts to rethink the relationship between man and the environment, scheduled from 28 September to 12 November in Matino (LE), the place of origin of the event, and for the first time with an exhibition also in the city of Lecce.
The theme of this edition is “Soulfood. And Beyond.”: food as nourishment not only for the body, but also for the soul, between consolation, closeness, passion, strength and love.
In the Cloister of the Palazzo dell'Antico Seminario there is an exhibition by Elena Subach, a Ukrainian visual artist who investigates the gap between the generation of young people and that of their grandmothers, between tradition, religion and the Soviet colonial past.
It is possible to visit the exhibition for free during the opening hours of the Palace: from 9am to 9pm (until 15 October), from 9am to 6pm (from 16 October to 12 November).
